Swindon Invincible Festival 2011 has been postponed and organisers are preparing for the 2012 event.
The organisers had arranged an event on the 20th August:
With less than a week to go we are left in a position where we have no choice but to pull this event.
We have personally lost over £60,000+ already and although we want to say thank you to those of you who supported us, we simply cannot afford to financially run with a night that has not been embraced by the public.
Ticket sales have been very disappointing and as a result we are no longer in a position to continue with the event and going forward at this stage would have led to a much greater loss.
The 'Invincible presents Clubnight' event was a one time only show to say thank you to all our supporters who have continually supported the festival at a heavily discounted price that could not have been achieved with this lineup under normal circumstances.
It is regretful that we are now faced with this decision after all that has happened and especially disappointing to the few people who exchanged or purchased tickets for the new event.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused with this years Invincible and hope that our loyal supporters can understand this difficult decision we had to make.
For your full refund please contact the point at which you purchased your tickets. Furthermore anyone who purchased tickets for the Invincible presents Club night will receive a voucher to redeem against next years Invincible Festival as a way of thank you.

If you have purchased tickets for the Festival you can exchange these for the new tickets or gain a refund.
Ticket exchange/refund process
All ticket holders of Swindon Invincible 2011 festivaltickets will need to return their tickets to the place of purchase to be ableto exchange their tickets for ones for the new event or to gain a refund.
Exchanges will see a refund of the face value of the festival ticket price minus the value of the new event ticket.
If you contact the seller in the first instance and stateyour intentions then they will be able to provide you any more information onreturning processes and or time frames.
There will be NO booking fee charged on all exchanges. Forany other terms of refunds please see the terms and conditions of the ticketseller you bought the tickets from.

Swindon Invincible has agreed with Swin City Comics, 28 Morley Street, Swindon SN1 1SG, that anyone who has purchased a ticket from Ticketline or Swindon Tickets that they can take their ticket in to the store and they will then instruct Ticketline or Swindon Tickets to issue a refund of the ticket value or exchange for the new event ticket.
Swin City will take all customers details, the tickets and issue a receipt that they have taken the tickets. All these details will be passed to Ticketline so they can then issue a refund or exchange.
